In the last few days it has been apparent that this is an election year, and the political landscape is getting more and more slippery by the minute.
The latest news on the election front is the announcement by Mr. Obama that his stance on illegal immigrant enforcement activites will take a more compassionate view. He is a dreamer, and the Dream Act is once again being milked for those crucial foreign votes.
The sins of the fathers are not to be used against the children of foreigners who entered this country illegally, without going through the immigration process as set forth by Congress. Mr. Obama has mandated through another Executive Order that Congress has no authority in this matter, only the president does.
Where in the Constitution that power is accorded the president has escaped me, although I have read it through several times (it is a rather short document, after all, unlike the immigration provisions, or any other Act of Congress this past century, at least.
It is important, after all, to garner those foreign votes.
The will and positions of Americans on this contentious issue, especially in this current economy, does not bear consideration.
As one who formerly grew up and lived in a border state, and has been repeatedly victimized by the policies of Washington on this issue and my state of residence on several occasions within the past twenty years, makes such a position rather hard to swallow.
As it appears is also the case with many other Americans, whether border state residents, victims or not.
I was even victimized once again in a non-border Western state, by the current economic conditions irrespective of the border issue.
After having left my home state of Arizona in early 2007 after the National Guard had been called out in order to secure Arizona's borders, and also a victim of the mortgage mess and crisis in the Western states particularly, I eventually ended up in another Western state after having to move from a Southern state where I had extended family after one of the major hurricanes for health reasons.
It took me approximately seven or eight months to be able to regain my health, during which time I was living in weekly rental rooms, which was all that I could afford due to the ramifications of my exit from Arizona and expenses thereafter in subsequent moves, medical expenses, and costs of gasoline and related expenses.
When I was well enough, I attempted to seek work in a busting economy in my former field of experience and expertise - leisure travel and tourism (an industry which pretty much was wiped out after 9-11, and all those TSA regulations and requirements which have turned many Americans against traveling very far for their recreation, if they could afford it).
During this time I ran through my savings (the equity I had gotten out of my home due to a forced move, a home I had lived in for over 12 years which was originally on a 15 year note, for which I had in those 12 years paid for twice with the interest) and three months "emergency" stash.
Eventually, I found it necessary to apply for food stamps in order to get food. A position that in my wildest dreams I never hoped to find myself.
I walked into the state offices (this is a federal program, but administered by the states) to pick up my application.
On the television in the office there was a video of the Disney movie, Jungle Book.
And the song, "The Bare Necessities" was playing on a loop over and over again.
I guess this is an example of the federal (or state) government's sense of humor.
Or maybe it was for the children of those food stamp recipients in order to discourage their children from asking for an I-phone for their next Christmas gift. You know, the ones which are advertised on the television around Christmas time to hook those kids into begging for the latest technology.
The office was crowded, although the applications were lying on a table so I didn't have to wait in line.
I looked it over.
The first page astounded me.
While as an American I was to provide documentation of my income, residency status (although a federal program), social security number, expenses and the like, it was stressed in bold letters that no proof of citizenship was required nor social security number for foreigners.
My benefits were cut off after one month due to the fact that my paperwork wasn't in order, and I was accused by one of the government officials when I went to the office again of not returning their call when they called to obtain further information. Rather loudly, I might add.
All representatives at the offices were minority race employees, and I would have to say that as a white, older American woman my application was reviewed far more closely than that of any of the minority members seeking assistance, although my case worker was a minority member and was very cordial and later apologized privately for the mix up.
But in the end it really didn't matter.
Within a month or two of receiving my card, I ran out of cream for my coffee one morning so decided to walk to the corner store since it was snowing out that morning.
I got on my boots, gloves and coat (and for a former desert dweller this was a lengthy process) and headed out to the store.
My weekly rental was on a rather busy street, so although not living in one of the "nicer" areas in this metro community, a community where walking and biking are promoted as a benefit of living there, it was just a short walk and wasn't really all that cold outside.
I hadn't gone more than a few blocks when I noticed one of those portable taco stands parked in a vacant lot, with three young men standing outside the little mobile home/restaurant.
I started walking past the cart when one of the young men stepped in front of me and asked if I had a few dollars to spare so that he could get something to eat.
I said, no I really didn't since I myself found I needed food stamps and only had about six dollars in cash with me anyway.
With that, he grabbed my purse. I grabbed back. The strap broke, and he was off across the vacant field.
At that moment in my life, if it hadn't been snowing, and I hadn't been over fifty, I would have taken off across that field to get my purse since it had all my identification, including my needed social security card in it, my children's pictures, and my food stamp card.
I don't think the Dream Act is what America needs.
How many more tens of thousands of those kids will also be looking for work when they graduate from those state colleges, and also cannot find adequate employment in addition to the literally millions of generational Americans now in that position?
Dream on, Mr. Obama.

Memorial Day Memories
The Memorial Day holiday is probably more significant to me than it is to many Americans for one simple reason.
Historically, May 30th was designated as Memorial Day; however, the day in May has fluctuated during the last several decades due to a change in legislation in order accomodate U.S. businesses and their employees to afford a three day weekend.
Memorial Day remained May 30th for many years after I was born, since May 30th just happens to be my birthday.
I was born on the day which was designated to honor all those killed in the wars preceding my birth...which at that time were those who lost their lives in the American Revolution, War of 1812, Civil War, World War I and World War II.
In Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
My birth and their deaths have been my legacy ever since.
While President Obama laid wreaths and rolled out the patriotic speeches, and Romney used the day to campaign on increases in federal governmental spending on defense, mention was made that this is also the 50th anniversary of the beginning of the Viet Nam war.
Also a war in which I was an eyewitness to the events surrounding its beginning, progression and ending.
What I heard did not at all address this war for what it was.
The start of the wars for global dominance and offensive engagements rather than Constitutional defensive ones.
The service personnel from that war need recognition more so probably than any other group of servicemen and women.
After all, most of them were required to serve, or run off to Canada if they did not wish to be drafted.
Many came back having been the subjects of experiments in chemical warfare (Agent Orange), and with PTSD due to having to fight a war against an ill defined enemy, for an ill defined purpose, and against women and children who were used also as combatants.
Sort of like this ongoing conflict in Iraq, Afghanistan and wherever else the front in this Middle Eastern "War on Terror" moves.
It appeared to me that many of those governmental officials waving the flag interviewed on cable television were using terrorism tactics themselves.
Romney stating that "this country is no more safet today than it was ten years ago" and in need of bulking up its military defensive spending in order to guarantee Americans future safety and security from the Middle Eastern threat.
When over 4,000 men and women so far have died in this current war, in addition to those lost in 9-11...would appear the threat is greater over there than it would be if we were fighting this war on our own home soil, if needed.
I mean, what is the logic of losing another 4,000 lives after losing almost 3,000 and doubling down on the loss of life.
If what Mr. Romney states is true, just how many more lives will be needed?
Our own U.S. borders are still, for the most part, unsecure and more and more foreigners are being afforded entry in this country than ever before, under that U.S. free pass visa waiver program which was instituted during the last days of the Bush Administration.
From over 40 different countries.
We are now training foreign troops on U.S. soil for the first time in American history - just how secure is that making this country's defense?
If we are not any more secure today than we were ten years ago, just what was the point of Reagan's Star Wars program, and all the literally tens of billions of dollars that have been spent to buy the latest satellite technology, and all those gadgets and guns?
Just how many more American lives, and livelihoods, will it take?
The attached video on the Viet Nam conflict is as true today, as it was then....and it is the sons and daughters of Americans that continue to pay the price...
THIS was Viet Nam....and this Middle Eastern war will be this generation's Viet Nam...
And how many that paid tribute today, will not be here for the next Memorial Day?

Obama, Cameron and The Game
The British are here! The British are here!
Last night Barack Obama and British Prime Minister David Cameron attended a basketball game...and then today the games continued.
While many in the mainstream media keep playing up the discord between British and American philosophies for the American public, these two gentlemen are about as alike as two peas in a pod.
Both with alliances to world government and British style dominion.
Although the governmental structure of the two countries are worlds apart, you wouldn't know it or at least most in this country have been progressively "re-educated" to the British mindset.
Continue the wars for dominion. That was the battle cry of Mr. Cameron during his address with Mr. Obama this afternoon, which of course in most respects Mr. Obama seconded.
Even after recent events in Afghanistan.
Mr. Obama protected BP after the Gulf Oil spill, for the most part, acting as lawyer on behalf of those U.S. businesses and lives taken in setting up that fund in order to "recompensate" the victims. Wiping out their ability to have their day in court, as it were.
Our alliances with Britain have progressively cost this country much both economically, and in lives lost in the foreign wars we have been involved in since World War II, and the establishment of the British/American alliance thereafter, the U.N.
The sun never sets on Britain, to this day, whether in fact or fealty.
Israel...a British creation...and U.S. unconditional support has also taken its toll on our national sovereignty and security.
To this day.
Our founders would be appalled.
Our country was founded on defensive wars only.
Britain, on offensive ones from its inception for dominion in the Roman-Anglo-Saxon vein.
Mr. Cameron was here to push for continued support for military involvement in Afghanistan and as a PR move, apparently, after the latest news from the front. Stretching out U.S. and British troop withdrawal into 2014, for goodness sake!
And continued with more terrorism threats with respect to Syria.
Britain has had more wars, bar none, than any country of its size throughout history. Both civil and foreign.
American interest and government is diametrically opposed to fighting wars for dominion.
Would 9-11 have ever even occurred had it not been for our continual presence in the Middle East, and support of the fears of Western Europe?
Would our country be in the economic quagmire it is now in, if not for our continued support for these "allied" causes?
We are providing military training to Canadian troops on American bases, for heaven sake. Training foreign troops on U.S. soil for the first time ever.
I think Washington just may need to take a long, hard look at who the real enemy to the American economy and our domestic security actually is.
While sitting down for those post game cups of tea.
And just why is it that almost immediately after another war horror story is reported, the British come to tea?

Iraq War Over? In Name Only, Perhaps
Contrary to what has been reported in the mainstream media, and especially the left wing Democrats on CNN, MSNBC and even those on that British Conservative station, Fox, the Iraq War is hardly over - nor is its reported "end" the result of Mr. Obama's stated campaign promises (except to promise what Bush had already agreed to before leaving office).
It was reported four short years ago that George Bush, during his last three months in office, quietly met with the "new" Iraqi government and agreed to a massive troop withdrawal beginning in 2010 and winding down by the first two weeks in December, 2011.
Which is exactly what has occurred, as agreed.
Just prior, of course, to the next presidential election in this country.
The mainstream media reported it, however, it appears the politicians in Washington hope and pray that Americans will buy this troop withdrawal as ending the War in the Middle East and crediting Mr. Obama for this massive coup.
Until, of course, there is another tragedy involving the U.S. in Iran, Pakistan, or wherever else the military decides it needs to go to bomb, and then rebuild.
The government contractors, of course, are still in Iraq and probably will be there for quite some time.
With, of course, military personnel still there also in order to not leave Iraq totally without a U.S. presence, and keep those government contractors and their safety as their primary priority now that the war is "over." With the convenient capture also of Osama bin Laden this year too (buried at sea in the Muslim tradition?) This has been quite a year for both Mr. Obama's party, and Mr. Bush's.
The AP also reported today in another article regarding a 662 Billion Appropriations Bill, not carried on the front pages or web alert pages:
"Highlighting a period of austerity and a winding down of decade-old conflicts, the bill is $27 billion less than Obama requested and $43 billion less than Congress gave the Pentagon. The bill also authorizes money for the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and national security programs in the Energy Department.
Frustrated with delays and cost overruns with the troubled F-35 Joint Strike Fighter aircraft program, lawmakers planned to require the contractor, Lockheed Martin, to cover the expense of any extra costs on the next batch and future purchases of the aircraft. The Pentagon envisions buying 2,443 planes for the Air Force, Marine Corps and Navy, but the price could make it the most expensive program in military history — $1 trillion.
The legislation freezes $700 million for Pakistan until the defense secretary provides Congress a report on how Islamabad is countering the threat of improvised explosive devices."

It really shocked me that included in this article is a provision that in the event an American is involved in some terrorist plot (although it seems Washington's politicos are the greatest terrorists of all), they too can be detained indefinitely, and without bail or bond.
Isn't that fundamentally unconstitutional, since Mr. Obama has also consented to "allow" these type actions, with the exception of any actions instigated by al Qaida or its affiliates, to be heard in the civil courts, rather than military courts. So that terrorism and those individuals defense costs can be "privatized," I guess, against all that foreign oil money from the countries that these individuals really call their home.
I mean I could understand having "open" military trials for those so accused who are not Americans but somehow got a visa and entered from one of the more than 40 countries the Bush Administration afforded free pass visa waivers during his term of office, under those "free trade" agreements using foreigners as commerce now that "commerce" and "people" have been so ill defined progressively.
Not to mention "foreigners" or "foreign enemies."
But affording the civil courts for these trials when our national security was and is so poor that a 9-11 could have even happened here in the first place, knowing just how much ill will there is in that part of the world against America and the West due to our decade upon decade presence there, force feeding our Western ideas of "freedom" - a definition of freedom that those in this country doubt the founding fathers would recognize as the inherent freedoms they were speaking of when our Constitution was ratified.
Many of these Middle Eastern countries, it appears, have little formal military for defense of their country and its people, but rather seems they are instead personal armies for the protection of the various dictators who progressively have ruled many of those countries.
From reading most of the web comments on the reported story of the "end of the War in Iraq," I'm not the only American both skeptical, and also with a longer memory than most of the mainstream media types and politicos give Americans credit for.
I predict that there will be another huge national security incident during Mr. Obama's next term of office (you don't really believe that old Newt, or Mitt, or Ron Paul even will take the coveted presidential prize this election, do you?).
So then we can have a Republican win the next election, and the status quo will then continue simply under a "change of face and party."
Perhaps against all odds by Iran (we are again beating the drums over Iran and its development of nuclear weapons - apparently a gigantic threat to this country even given our massive military might, and all the money we have spent on national defense and toys, and Reagan's Star Wars program in the 1980's). Or Pakistan (still a threat to India, apparently, another former British possession).
I guess that is why today, "The End of the War in Iraq Day", there were no parades...

Obama Hawks British War Strategy
It appears the hawk has replaced the dove during Mr. Obama's less than three year run as our nation's president.
During the British tour announced and undertaken post the "capture" and "death" of Osama bin Laden, Mr. Obama has been meeting with the British leaders and hawking his new conversion from his election positions and statements in 2008. Remember, at that time he was challenged as "soft" on war with his stances to end the War in Iraq as soon as "safely" possible, and get our troops back home and end this unconstitutional Middle East takeover in the name of fighting "terrorism" and also tracking down bin Laden.
The "new" British initiative which America and American troops are also expected to support?
Establishing "democracies" throughout the Middle East. Of course, the United States is not a democracy, nor was ever intended to be, but a Constitutional Republic honoring freedom of religion most of all, although with Christian-Judeo roots in its original intent and form. Not extremism in either of those two faiths either in supporting interventionist or even precipitated wars in order to "take over" other countries and their established forms of government, whatever they may be, but affording those people living within those sovereign countries to also stage their own revolutionary wars if "change" is truly needed there, with U.S. diplomatic and arms support if need be, of course if absolutely needed or necessary.
Not direct troop involvement, at any rate.
But no matter, it is clear that the "change" which occurs under a change in leadership in this country has no effect, and instead of abiding by the Constitution it appears a race to see which party can desecrate it even faster.
While all this was being announced, of course, the U.S. Congress and House of "Misrepresentatives" again passed the extension of the Patriot Act, that Act of Congress that was passed post 9-11 in order to fight "terrorism," once again ten long years after 9-11, and also after this recent "capture" and "death at sea" of the purported mastermind.
Where is the outraged citizenry who continue to be marginalized also under this unconstitutional provision and "in your face" violation of America's Bill of Rights?
Most likely on the unemployment line, or now without television sets in order to continue keeping tabs and watching the destruction of the late, great U.S. those founders fought so hard and shed their blood to watch our modern day political machines in bed with the unconstitutional agendas of World War II allies destroy.
Hail, Britainnia. Britainnia rules the Hill.

The Decade In Review: Next War, Pakistan?
With the reported death of Osama bin Laden due to the heroic actions of the U.S. Navy Seals being credited for recent events in Pakistan, although questionable based upon the timing, methods and eventual disposition of the body of the claimed front man for the 9-11 attacks by more than a few Americans with the press and federal government once again ratcheting up the terrorism threats and reports of retaliation, perhaps it is time to step back and review just what has occurred in the 10 years since that horrendous day.
The Patriot Act once again is quietly being brought to the floor of Congress for passage without any real significant changes in the unconstitutional provisions contained within it in violation of the U.S. Constitution as I write and post these recent reports.
Our southern and northern borders remain for the most part unsecured, now 10 long years after 9-11 with the politicians using this issue in the 10 years since in order to build or remain in public office at the cost of literally thousands of additional American lives.
Foreigners, especially Canadians, have been given blanket security clearances and are training on U.S. shores in many military installations across the country, while dissenting Americans opposed to these ever expanding Middle Eastern wars are being targeted by Homeland Security in greater and greater numbers as more and more of these "degrees" are handed out through U.S. universities, and also by the military itself.
A Canadian can be posted and train at NORAD, I recently learned, while an American who attempts to enter those sacred grounds could be shot on sight.
And a Canadian military officer or member has no inherent loyalty oath to the Constitution, or to recognizing the Congress or President as their civilian commanders, even though most of the members of Congress and the President are now afforded to accept campaign contributions from who knows where rather than the "district" or even "country" in which they live and are to protect and defend primarily against foreigners, be they allies or enemies, as it detrimentally affects this nation or its citizenry.
During Bush's last 90 days in office, an "administrative order" was passed affording foreigners from over 35 countries "free pass" visa waivers which simply required 48 hour security checks in order to enter and visit or work in the United States.
More and more work visas are being also handed out to foreigners, even during this recession and post 9-11, and jobs are being handed out by those large global corporations based in the United States as the basis for the requests for those visas in that "no American can be found to do the job as opposed to the "specialized" skills and talents of those foreigners.
Many from former British colonies or territories such as India or Australia, in addition to those Canadians.
The propaganda on Fox, a U.S. pay cable station owned by a former Brit espousing British style conservatism, continues to confuse the issues and undermine our Constitution along with those stations and media publications also owned by the globalists who wish to return this country back to its pre-Revolutionary War status.
Another colony of the Brits, or under British rule and dominion through their extensive holdings in America and even our banks through the Federal Reserve.
This current administration and its loyal press appear to be once again beating the drums for a major offensive in Pakistan post these recent events, in addition to maintaining fronts in both Afghanistan and Iraq, and through its U.S. membership in the U.N., Libya.
While Scotty from American Idol this past week chose to sing an inspirational country-western song about faith, and those events ten long years ago, again on Fox - the national animal of the British who desperately need to use our U.S. troops in order to continue their quest for world economic dominion and control with the Middle Eastern countries being the sole holdouts to this massive global agenda in world socialism.
It appears our current leaders feel they are more "enlightened" and intelligent than those great men who gave their lives to establish this nation, as one unlike any other.
Seems we have come full circle in the short span of less than 300 years, and from all reports, most of the true "natives" are getting quite restless.
And the "change" that is needed appears will not be coming from either the Republicans, or the Democrats who continue to assist in selling this country and its people out to those whose true interests and loyalties lie elsewhere.
Misusing and attempting to marginalize all the "conspiracy theorists" who ask the important and vital questions at this point, and divert attention with weddings, death announcements, and political staged backbiting against those standing in the way of "progress."
Even our churches have been corrupted due to federal faith based grant monies, with strings attached by many of those huge, globally focused churches now also misrepresenting scripture, especially in the Christian faith, with respect to this political maneuvering.
At this point for many, even those gruesome pictures wouldn't answer the fundamental questions that keep nagging many and have for the past 10 years.
Mainly, this "changed" America under both mainstream political parties bears no resemblance to the nation those founders shed their blood to establish those many years ago.
A sovereign America conceived in individual liberty, and free of global wars and British world agendas.

Senator McCain: Reagan Aside, Libya Is Not America's War
After the presidential address attempting to "sell" the American people on yet another U.S. involvement in a foreign civil war, of course, there were analyses set forth by members of both political parties, the talking heads on the major cable news networks and others.
One from the Senator from Arizona, John McCain, defending again another foreign war sacrificing U.S. troops in the guise of protecting the civilian rebels for the "greater good" in Libya.
Reagan and his Reaganomics aside, which has literally at this point due to decisions made during that administration has cost a great many Arizonans their lives, property and livelihoods due to his first blanket amnesty move, and widening the interstate highways from Nogales to Flagstaff back in the 80's to facilitate the exchange of goods and people while leaving Arizona's open desert and borders for the most part open and unsecured - what has been left out is that the president of this country has no inherent authority whatsoever to engage American troops in any defense or intervention of any other nation other than our own.
Diplomacy and trade sanctions, yes. Direct troop involvement, no. Whether through NATO or presidential fiat.
At least without the consent of America's elected representatives, who also were to be cognizant of the strict provisions for defensive wars under which this country also was founded. Yet our standing army and its ranks continue to expand due to these serial foreign engagements, while our own borders are opened and for the most part unsecured?
Although, of course, there has been no true representatives in this country by legislative district for literally decades due also to the globalist progressives and their agendas low these many years, and some rather questionable Supreme Court rulings affording voice, funding and votes to global and national corporate entities even in local elections, many for the most part based outside the U.S.
Libya is not our war. And putting another British Parliament and puppet government in Libya or Iraq, for that matter, does not serve the interests of this country but is merely sacrificing our blood and treasure on behalf of global socialism, not even "democracy."
Remember, those founders did not believe in democracy - a form of government in their writings they predicted was doomed to fail and was nothing more than "gang rule."
Thus, those first ten amendments were provided in order to protect the citizenry and their lives and wallets.
And interesting that while incarcerated and many times plea bargained civilian prisoners in America's federal prisons have been progressively denied their "voting" rights and freedom in the piling on of charges many times, some even for lower level felony offenses, and the dissenters in the United States who continue to protest this illegal and unconstitutional foreign policy are being arrested on domestic shores, our leadership once again fails to truly see the forest for the trees and what is truly going on in their own backyard.

Washington Hypocricy Evident Once Again
Once again, it appears that the hypocricy in Washington has become evident for many Americans outside the Beltway.
While the media labeled "coalition" of forces in the West, including America and its historic "allies" Britain, France and the allied forces since World War II are now waging war on Libya in the "no fly" zone which was established this past week by those same forces, protests by Americans were held across the nation against America's continued involvement in Iraq.
It was reported that the rebellious Americans who defer from American foreign policy on the war were arrested for being too near the White House gates while conducting their demonstrations.
Will wonders never cease?
While Washington is supporting the rebels in Libya, it is arresting its domestic variety for staging their demonstrations where they would have the most coverage and impact.
In front of the White House.
Meanwhile, gas prices throughout the country have gone from $2.65 per gallon one year ago, to the "new" pricing of $3.20 a gallon - an over 30% increase in less than a year.
I wonder if those prices reflect all those barrels that were scammed during the months long "cleanup" and then refined in Britain during Deepwater Horizon this past summer, or whether the revolts now in the Middle East will be reported to blame.
Stay tuned.

Americans: Strangers In A Strange Land
Since we are now approaching the end of the first decade in the new millennium, and officially became what is known as a "senior" reaching my 55th year on this planet, I guess old age is finally rearing its ugly head as it tends to do.
Which involves looking back more often, rather than ahead and what's been lost throughout the years. Not just personally. But also this great country and my birthplace.
I grew up in the Beaver Cleever era, but also lived through Viet Nam, the Civil Rights Movement, and Watergate so have seen, as in the old Judy Collins song, "both sides now." And it isn't hard to see that this country has been on a downhill slide since almost the moment of my birth, if not several decades before.
I am beginning to feel more and more like a stranger in a strange land, and never more so than in the last almost nine years since that awful moment now etched in history. September 11, 2001. Less than a year after George W. Bush's contentious election, and after the first Bush and Clinton, two other "globalist" UN focused presidents whose primary agendas were on global economic and political government. Not our Constitution, or a sovereign America.
We are at a critical time in our history, and the time for political correctness actually is long, long past and is being used now more not to ensure "equality" but to facilitate population control on a massive scale.
This is no more evident than what has occurred with respect to our immigration policies, and now the focus is once again being directed at "legalizing" approximately 12 million foreigners in order to give them legal status in this country.
Which is almost laughable at this point, to the point where it hurts.
This will be the second such attempt since the first Reagan amnesty back in the 80's (which lead to where we are today, without addressing again the border issues, refugee policies, and immigration procedures) since 2006 just prior to our now economic crisis when many natural born Americans for several generations are now jobless and homeless.
Let's look at the pluses and minuses and advantages which would be given to these illegals over those that are now legal Americans.
Right now illegal immigrants in this country have:
1. Paid health care benefits for emergency room visits.
2. Paid legal defense expenses for any court actions through MALDEF, the ACLU and other American(?) civil rights organizations. Not only defensive actions, but recently have even been extended legal fees in bringing actions against U.S. citizens or government officials for so much as defending their own property against trespass or theft as has occurred in the border states. (Think the DOJ prosecuting Ramos and Compean against a known drug trafficker, or a case in Arizona recently against a rancher defending his own land against trespass and sued for "mental anguish" inflicted, although I believe both were political actions to begin with due to the high press exposure simply meant to terrorize or "scare" other Americans, whether brought with or without those involved foreknowledge).
3. Preferential treatment in hiring practices by small and large major corporate businesses affiliated with the state and national Chambers of Commerce.
4. Police protection for their demonstrations and protests in American cities throughout the country.
5. Ease and access to their former home country and extended families for holidays and vacations, with children educated in American schools now encouraging diversity, rather than assimilation into America.
6. Discounted wire transfers for their wages at local retailers for sums sent back to Mexico.
7. Credit cards and loans secured by U.S. banks without having to provide any social security records or proof of identification, with the legal and lawful citizens securing their debts (bank bailouts).
8. Discounted college tuition and free public lower educations for their children if renters.
9. Ballots and signs at retail outlets in order to facilitate use.
10. Federal legislation that protects the rights of foreigners over those of natural born Americans in tax free income and benefits, from whatever source. Crime, after all, is a job and economic stimulus. Even cross borders hard core drug trafficking.
11. Ease of access to state and federal legislators and government officials for complaints and concerns at election time.
The advantages of being an American:
1. Income taxes on wages earned at up to 50% (including Social Security) of gross wages;
2. Joblessness in major industry sectors such as construction, tourism, manufacturing, technology and agriculture that have been given to non-Americans in order to increase corporate profit margins, both insourced and outsourced.
3. Increased home, auto, and professional liability insurance to protect from the drug trade and criminal element, or increased rates based on claims filed, and to protect against all those American citizen funded lawsuits filed by MALDEF, the ACLU and other non-American civil rights organizations for "discriminatory" treatment and violation of foreigners "civil" rights under America's Bill of Rights (We the People.....For Us And Our Posterity" apparently has been judiciary amended in state and federal courts now without the "consent of the governed," with Americans now subsidizing the "legal industy" and courts for those cases, and now backlogs of years in order for a simple civil case to get through the court system as a result).
4. Six hour waits in several states for emergency room treatments if you are American, but there are illegals waiting for treatments for the flu for their federally provided taxpayer paid treatments;
5. Arranging for private transportation for your kids to and from school in order to bypass the drug dealers hanging around the corner from the middle schools and high schools in order to score some of their allowance or part time job monies;
6. Hours assisting your child with his homework and costly school projects in order to help them qualify for higher education scholarships at the state university you have been funding, only to watch those scholarships go to "disadvantaged" non-U.S. citizens children instead;
7. Paying for that college education with either your savings throughout his childhood, mortgage on your home, or supplementing or assisting with obtaining HIS overinflated bank loan for his five digit annual tuition, and then watching him graduate, diploma in hand and then reduced to waiting tables or taking a job that doesn't even pay back half of those loan payments or their interest due within ten months of graduation on a schedule that places him in the poverty level for the first ten years of his post college employment at a entry level position.
8. Waking up at night while helicopter searchlights search the neighborhood washes and desert areas for the drug dealers in most cities and towns within 300 miles of the borders.
9. Sending your beloved child off to war, only to find out that his benefits for his war related injuries are less than those given to illegal immigrants, and the paperwork and waiting at the VA much longer;
10. Sending your child off to war, and then finding out that the refugees from the war torn country have better federally provided benefits and housing accommodations than the average middle class American and diplomatic protection for any crimes they may commit. And duel citizenship.
So when that amnesty bill comes down the pike illegals, take a look around you. It appears from all indications that it is just a matter of time until this Middle Eastern war extends once again, and due to Americans who have now watched this progression and its continuation, fewer new recruits. Part of the amnesty most likely will be directed toward benefits in exchange for military service in the fine print of that next 1,000 page bill for an "economic" war meant to plunge this nation further in debt most of all for economic profit of the moneylenders.
And if it can happen to us many of whom are several generation Americans, it can and will happen to you. Or your near posterity in this global boom and bust manipulated game of human sacrifice for the "global greater good," of the money changers and money lenders.
Remember, a democracy is nothing more than gang rule, rather than our intended Constitutional Republic.
And neither of absolutely any effect whatsoever when the one that prints the money, also prints the ballots.
In at least ten different "global" languages.
P.S. If there appears any immigration related ads on this page along with this article, another backward glance on immigration policies for the U.S. when my immigrant relatives migrated from Great Britain two generations back. They did not need the assistance of a lawyer or immigration attorney, and the fees in order to immigrate were nominal based on security clearances and background checks, sponsorship by a U.S. citizens, and eventual sustainability or political reasons only. Not thousand dollar fees and costs leaving you bankrupt or at the mercy of those that only wish to profit from your circumstances for migration. But politically, due to the ongoing world socialism - you will not find this country in many respects taxation wise any different than the one you are leaving in this global market manipulation game.
And those ads are also meant to gain revenue to entice you for the application fees and costs, only to eventually fleece you if you should be approved. Sort of like your own country, if it is also enmeshed with the global economy at this point.
Because those Immigration Ads that are appearing on this site, are actually taxpayer paid to these corporate welfare recipients running them now in USA, Inc. if they are the from the "official" U.S. Immigration Service, which were the original ads that were appearing on this article as soon as I wrote it for this blog.

George Washington on Political Parties, Constitution and Debt
I wonder what George Washington would think if he were alive today and reflected on the lives shed to build this nation and this new government and his precious Constitution?
Below is his advice, and also a caveat with respect to borrowing and credit. It would appear if we had heeded his advice, our country would not be facing the crisis which have now afflicted us......
All obstructions to the execution of the laws, all combinations and associations, under whatever plausible character, with the real design to direct, control, counteract, or awe the regular deliberation and action of the constituted authorities, are destructive of this fundamental principle, and of fatal tendency. They serve to organize faction, to give it an artificial and extraordinary force; to put, in the place of the delegated will of the nation the will of a party, often a small but artful and enterprising minority of the community; and, according to the alternate triumphs of different parties, to make the public administration the mirror of the ill-concerted and incongruous projects of faction, rather than the organ of consistent and wholesome plans digested by common counsels and modified by mutual interests. However combinations or associations of the above description may now and then answer popular ends, they are likely, in the course of time and things, to become potent engines, by which cunning, ambitious, and unprincipled men will be enabled to subvert the power of the people and to usurp for themselves the reins of government, destroying afterwards the very engines which have lifted them to unjust dominion.
Towards the preservation of your government, and the permanency of your present happy state, it is requisite, not only that you steadily discountenance irregular oppositions to its acknowledged authority, but also that you resist with care the spirit of innovation upon its principles, however specious the pretexts. One method of assault may be to effect, in the forms of the Constitution, alterations which will impair the energy of the system, and thus to undermine what cannot be directly overthrown. In all the changes to which you may be invited, remember that time and habit are at least as necessary to fix the true character of governments as of other human institutions; that experience is the surest standard by which to test the real tendency of the existing constitution of a country; that facility in changes, upon the credit of mere hypothesis and opinion, exposes to perpetual change, from the endless variety of hypothesis and opinion; and remember, especially, that for the efficient management of your common interests, in a country so extensive as ours, a government of as much vigor as is consistent with the perfect security of liberty is indispensable. Liberty itself will find in such a government, with powers properly distributed and adjusted, its surest guardian. It is, indeed, little else than a name, where the government is too feeble to withstand the enterprises of faction, to confine each member of the society within the limits prescribed by the laws, and to maintain all in the secure and tranquil enjoyment of the rights of person and property. I have already intimated to you the danger of parties in the State, with particular reference to the founding of them on geographical discriminations.
Let me now take a more comprehensive view, and warn you in the most solemn manner against the baneful effects of the spirit of party generally. This spirit, unfortunately, is inseparable from our nature, having its root in the strongest passions of the human mind. It exists under different shapes in all governments, more or less stifled, controlled, or repressed; but, in those of the popular form, it is seen in its greatest rankness, and is truly their worst enemy. The alternate domination of one faction over another, sharpened by the spirit of revenge, natural to party dissension, which in different ages and countries has perpetrated the most horrid enormities, is itself a frightful despotism. But this leads at length to a more formal and permanent despotism. The disorders and miseries which result gradually incline the minds of men to seek security and repose in the absolute power of an individual; and sooner or later the chief of some prevailing faction, more able or more fortunate than his competitors, turns this disposition to the purposes of his own elevation, on the ruins of public liberty. Without looking forward to an extremity of this kind (which nevertheless ought not to be entirely out of sight), the common and continual mischiefs of the spirit of party are sufficient to make it the interest and duty of a wise people to discourage and restrain it.It serves always to distract the public councils and enfeeble the public administration. It agitates the community with ill-founded jealousies and false alarms, kindles the animosity of one part against another, foments occasionally riot and insurrection. It opens the door to foreign influence and corruption, which finds a facilitated access to the government itself through the channels of party passions. Thus the policy and the will of one country are subjected to the policy and will of another.
There is an opinion that parties in free countries are useful checks upon the administration of the government and serve to keep alive the spirit of liberty. This within certain limits is probably true; and in governments of a monarchical cast, patriotism may look with indulgence, if not with favor, upon the spirit of party. But in those of the popular character, in governments purely elective, it is a spirit not to be encouraged. From their natural tendency, it is certain there will always be enough of that spirit for every salutary purpose. And there being constant danger of excess, the effort ought to be by force of public opinion, to mitigate and assuage it. A fire not to be quenched, it demands a uniform vigilance to prevent its bursting into a flame, lest, instead of warming, it should consume. It is important, likewise, that the habits of thinking in a free country should inspire caution in those entrusted with its administration, to confine themselves within their respective constitutional spheres, avoiding in the exercise of the powers of one department to encroach upon another. The spirit of encroachment tends to consolidate the powers of all the departments in one, and thus to create, whatever the form of government, a real despotism. A just estimate of that love of power, and proneness to abuse it, which predominates in the human heart, is sufficient to satisfy us of the truth of this position. The necessity of reciprocal checks in the exercise of political power, by dividing and distributing it into different depositaries, and constituting each the guardian of the public weal against invasions by the others, has been evinced by experiments ancient and modern; some of them in our country and under our own eyes. To preserve them must be as necessary as to institute them. If, in the opinion of the people, the distribution or modification of the constitutional powers be in any particular wrong, let it be corrected by an amendment in the way which the Constitution designates. But let there be no change by usurpation; for though this, in one instance, may be the instrument of good, it is the customary weapon by which free governments are destroyed. The precedent must always greatly overbalance in permanent evil any partial or transient benefit, which the use can at any time yield.
Of all the dispositions and habits which lead to political prosperity, religion and morality are indispensable supports. In vain would that man claim the tribute of patriotism, who should labor to subvert these great pillars of human happiness, these firmest props of the duties of men and citizens. The mere politician, equally with the pious man, ought to respect and to cherish them. A volume could not trace all their connections with private and public felicity. Let it simply be asked: Where is the security for property, for reputation, for life, if the sense of religious obligation desert the oaths which are the instruments of investigation in courts of justice ? And let us with caution indulge the supposition that morality can be maintained without religion. Whatever may be conceded to the influence of refined education on minds of peculiar structure, reason and experience both forbid us to expect that national morality can prevail in exclusion of religious principle. It is substantially true that virtue or morality is a necessary spring of popular government. The rule, indeed, extends with more or less force to every species of free government. Who that is a sincere friend to it can look with indifference upon attempts to shake the foundation of the fabric?Promote then, as an object of primary importance, institutions for the general diffusion of knowledge. In proportion as the structure of a government gives force to public opinion, it is essential that public opinion should be enlightened. As a very important source of strength and security, cherish public credit. One method of preserving it is to use it as sparingly as possible, avoiding occasions of expense by cultivating peace, but remembering also that timely disbursements to prepare for danger frequently prevent much greater disbursements to repel it, avoiding likewise the accumulation of debt, not only by shunning occasions of expense, but by vigorous exertion in time of peace to discharge the debts which unavoidable wars may have occasioned, not ungenerously throwing upon posterity the burden which we ourselves ought to bear.

George Washington's Foreign Policy
Below is excerpts from George Washington's Farewell Speech to the American People with respect to his views toward America's future foreign policy:
"Observe good faith and justice towards all nations; cultivate peace and harmony with all. Religion and morality enjoin this conduct; and can it be, that good policy does not equally enjoin it It will be worthy of a free, enlightened, and at no distant period, a great nation, to give to mankind the magnanimous and too novel example of a people always guided by an exalted justice and benevolence. Who can doubt that, in the course of time and things, the fruits of such a plan would richly repay any temporary advantages which might be lost by a steady adherence to it ? Can it be that Providence has not connected the permanent felicity of a nation with its virtue ? The experiment, at least, is recommended by every sentiment which ennobles human nature. Alas! is it rendered impossible by its vices?
In the execution of such a plan, nothing is more essential than that permanent, inveterate antipathies against particular nations, and passionate attachments for others, should be excluded; and that, in place of them, just and amicable feelings towards all should be cultivated. The nation which indulges towards another a habitual hatred or a habitual fondness is in some degree a slave. It is a slave to its animosity or to its affection, either of which is sufficient to lead it astray from its duty and its interest. Antipathy in one nation against another disposes each more readily to offer insult and injury, to lay hold of slight causes of umbrage, and to be haughty and intractable, when accidental or trifling occasions of dispute occur. Hence, frequent collisions, obstinate, envenomed, and bloody contests. The nation, prompted by ill-will and resentment, sometimes impels to war the government, contrary to the best calculations of policy. The government sometimes participates in the national propensity, and adopts through passion what reason would reject; at other times it makes the animosity of the nation subservient to projects of hostility instigated by pride, ambition, and other sinister and pernicious motives. The peace often, sometimes perhaps the liberty, of nations, has been the victim.
So likewise, a passionate attachment of one nation for another produces a variety of evils. Sympathy for the favorite nation, facilitating the illusion of an imaginary common interest in cases where no real common interest exists, and infusing into one the enmities of the other, betrays the former into a participation in the quarrels and wars of the latter without adequate inducement or justification. It leads also to concessions to the favorite nation of privileges denied to others which is apt doubly to injure the nation making the concessions; by unnecessarily parting with what ought to have been retained, and by exciting jealousy, ill-will, and a disposition to retaliate, in the parties from whom equal privileges are withheld. And it gives to ambitious, corrupted, or deluded citizens (who devote themselves to the favorite nation), facility to betray or sacrifice the interests of their own country, without odium, sometimes even with popularity; gilding, with the appearances of a virtuous sense of obligation, a commendable deference for public opinion, or a laudable zeal for public good, the base or foolish compliances of ambition, corruption, or infatuation.
As avenues to foreign influence in innumerable ways, such attachments are particularly alarming to the truly enlightened and independent patriot. How many opportunities do they afford to tamper with domestic factions, to practice the arts of seduction, to mislead public opinion, to influence or awe the public councils. Such an attachment of a small or weak towards a great and powerful nation dooms the former to be the satellite of the latter.
Against the insidious wiles of foreign influence (I conjure you to believe me, fellow-citizens) the jealousy of a free people ought to be constantly awake, since history and experience prove that foreign influence is one of the most baneful foes of republican government. But that jealousy to be useful must be impartial; else it becomes the instrument of the very influence to be avoided, instead of a defense against it. Excessive partiality for one foreign nation and excessive dislike of another cause those whom they actuate to see danger only on one side, and serve to veil and even second the arts of influence on the other. Real patriots who may resist the intrigues of the favorite are liable to become suspected and odious, while its tools and dupes usurp the applause and confidence of the people, to surrender their interests.
The great rule of conduct for us in regard to foreign nations is in extending our commercial relations, to have with them as little political connection as possible. So far as we have already formed engagements, let them be fulfilled with perfect good faith. Here let us stop. Europe has a set of primary interests which to us have none; or a very remote relation. Hence she must be engaged in frequent controversies, the causes of which are essentially foreign to our concerns. Hence, therefore, it must be unwise in us to implicate ourselves by artificial ties in the ordinary vicissitudes of her politics, or the ordinary combinations and collisions of her friendships or enmities.
Our detached and distant situation invites and enables us to pursue a different course. If we remain one people under an efficient government. the period is not far off when we may defy material injury from external annoyance; when we may take such an attitude as will cause the neutrality we may at any time resolve upon to be scrupulously respected; when belligerent nations, under the impossibility of making acquisitions upon us, will not lightly hazard the giving us provocation; when we may choose peace or war, as our interest, guided by justice, shall counsel.
Why forego the advantages of so peculiar a situation? Why quit our own to stand upon foreign ground? Why, by interweaving our destiny with that of any part of Europe, entangle our peace and prosperity in the toils of European ambition, rivalship, interest, humor or caprice?
It is our true policy to steer clear of permanent alliances with any portion of the foreign world; so far, I mean, as we are now at liberty to do it; for let me not be understood as capable of patronizing infidelity to existing engagements. I hold the maxim no less applicable to public than to private affairs, that honesty is always the best policy. I repeat it, therefore, let those engagements be observed in their genuine sense. But, in my opinion, it is unnecessary and would be unwise to extend them.
Taking care always to keep ourselves by suitable establishments on a respectable defensive posture, we may safely trust to temporary alliances for extraordinary emergencies. Harmony, liberal intercourse with all nations, are recommended by policy, humanity, and interest. But even our commercial policy should hold an equal and impartial hand; neither seeking nor granting exclusive favors or preferences; consulting the natural course of things; diffusing and diversifying by gentle means the streams of commerce, but forcing nothing; establishing (with powers so disposed, in order to give trade a stable course, to define the rights of our merchants, and to enable the government to support them) conventional rules of intercourse, the best that present circumstances and mutual opinion will permit, but temporary, and liable to be from time to time abandoned or varied, as experience and circumstances shall dictate; constantly keeping in view that it is folly in one nation to look for disinterested favors from another; that it must pay with a portion of its independence for whatever it may accept under that character; that, by such acceptance, it may place itself in the condition of having given equivalents for nominal favors, and yet of being reproached with ingratitude for not giving more. There can be no greater error than to expect or calculate upon real favors from nation to nation. It is an illusion, which experience must cure, which a just pride ought to discard.
In offering to you, my countrymen, these counsels of an old and affectionate friend, I dare not hope they will make the strong and lasting impression I could wish; that they will control the usual current of the passions, or prevent our nation from running the course which has hitherto marked the destiny of nations. But, if I may even flatter myself that they may be productive of some partial benefit, some occasional good; that they may now and then recur to moderate the fury of party spirit, to warn against the mischiefs of foreign intrigue, to guard against the impostures of pretended patriotism; this hope will be a full recompense for the solicitude for your welfare, by which they have been dictated."
