Where Were The Harpoons: Shamu Show Resumes Amid Questions

The AP reported that today the Orlando Sea World resumed it's killer whale Shamu show, "Believe," less than three short days after the death of one of its most experienced trainers, Dawn Brancheau, who was killed by one of the whales after a dinner show, "Dining with Shamu."

As one who was present at a show over twenty years ago where a male orca became agressive with a female trainer at another park (now defunct) in Southern California, it surprised me that it was "business as usual," less than three short days after what was reported has occurred, and the history now of this particular killer whale, although he was not part of the performances.

I am no animal rights activist, but in the case of these killer whales and the manner in which they have been showcased and displayed by this and many other marine "zoos," is rather disturbing.

Especially after the tragedy of the several days ago.

At least for the short term, the trainers were not getting into the tanks and performing physically with the whales.

But who knows as this event recedes from the public consciousness when such stunts may resume.

It appears in order to draw in the crowds, bigger and better stunts are the marketing ploys, no matter that these animals have proved that they are quite unpredictable, and highly intelligent in their methods for expressing their displeasure at being made to perform for the masses and entertainment.

There is an educational focus somewhat of these shows, and wonder if the parks are also recipients of some of those government grant monies as an "educational" institution.

Maybe that would explain why there has been so little real regulation over these parks, and accountability for both their purchases, and training methods.

This whale was purchased from a park in Canada, and had been involved in another death of a trainer along with two other whales, and a female trainer also was drowned as a result. So "playful" was this whale and the two others, that her clothes were ripped from her body and she was naked when they eventually were able to recover the body.

And according to media reports, the sale to Sea World of this particular whale specified he would only be used as a stud, and not for performance purposes.

Sea World was sold to a Wall Street investment firm, Blackstone Group, last year by Annheuser Busch for over 2 billion dollars. The "Dining with Shamu" show was initiated in the 90's in order to bulk up revenues of this multi-billion dollar theme park, and just for the average family to visit this park is now over $300 conservatively estimated for a Sunday afternoon family outing, or vacation.

He has been described as the "alpha" male of this pod of whales at Orlando's Sea World, and according to the marine biologist we spoke with after the incident my family witnessed in the early 1980's where a male orca was aggressively pursuing his female trainer while in the water, he indicated that the males are much more aggressive by their very nature than the females as the "hunters" of the group.

The whale involved in the incident we witnessed actually actively prevented a male trainer who was attempting to distract and intervene in what was occuring from assisting and "rescuing" the female trainer.

I'm sure most of the trainers do know that there is an inherent safety risk in working with such animals, but in this instance, this animal had a prior history of aggression, yet was being asked to perform three or four shows a day on command.

In a tank that given his size and age, would seem that this accident and outcome was only a matter of time.

At this point, I can only assume that those that would get any enjoyment out of these shows would be those that thrive on "reality" television shows such as "Fear Factor," or own police radios and are the first on the scene at most auto accidents.

And asking those trainers to get back in the tank, or even working with these animals just two short days after the horrific death of one of their co-workers, seems that corporate greed knows no bounds.

I hope if such events continue and for their own protection, those trainers have access to a gun and harpoons, and not merely "noise buckets." Just where was OSHA? I mean with all the bank bailouts now for global corporations, and now this involving another "global" corporate entity, we do certainly have a problem with adequately regulating "commerce" in this country now that is impacting and affecting Americans more and more every day in both loss of homes, and their lives. Ms. Brancheau just might be alive today if simply one shot of a harpoon hit that whale, which would have truly been the distraction needed in order to potentially save her life.

Are the federal and state governments so greedy also for the sales and other taxes these global corporations bring, that it appears that the larger and more profitable some fo these global businesses are, the more "privileges and immunities" it appears they seem to receive at both the state and federal levels?

Since it appears that this little scenario went on for several minutes before the trainer's death by drowning, at least providing those trainers with guns and harpoons in any event would prevent another trainer's life being offered up for corporate profits

U.S. Senate Passes Unpatriotic Act By Voice Vote

Well, we certainly got "change" alright, haven't we America?

Yesterday it was reported by the AP that the Senate rather hastily extended the terms of the United States "Unpatriotic" Act for another year, without any fundamental changes with respect to many of the unlawful provisions and search and seizures now being instigated by the Department of Homeland Insecurity after its original passage in the wake of 9-11.

Prior, of couse, to our invasion of Iraq then after being in Afghanistan for less than a year, hunting for the mastermind of 9-11, which was committed by Saudi citizens. Not an American Joe Citizen in the bunch planned the attack, or was an accessory to it that was living in the country prior to 9-11.

But, of course, shares in our airlines and nuclear reactors are still being traded on the global stock exchange, and our northern and southern borders more porous now than even before 9-11 after the DHS and Bush Administration's Visa waiver program was expanded to include now citizens from over 34 different countries.

Including Great Britain, home of two of the latest terrorists, the shoe bomber and the underwear bomber.

Whose father, according to British sources, who supposedly reported on his son's radicalization by a Yemen connected al Qaeda sect, actually was a high level banking official, and who lived (as a student, supposedly) in one of the premier London neighborhoods amongst most of the British banking houses wheelers and dealers.

The vote was taken via voice vote, not roll call.

There is little wonder why.

Those 2010 election campaigns are now in high gear, and we wouldn't want that black mark as having voted for this unconstitutional Act once again to somehow ruin any of the chances of some of these Senators being re-elected.

So our Democratic Congress is really no different than our Republican one. This way they can all individually state that the didn't vote to extend this ludicrous act which is such a violation of the Bill of Rights it is outrageous in some of its provisions.

And mostly directed at those telecom companies, you know the ones that Congress was attempting then to also grant immunity to in order to honor those National Security Letters, and go along with this Act when I'm sure most of their corporate lawyers knew how totally violative it was of the Bill of Rights, and warned their clients accordingly - who, of course, then went screaming to Congress so that after its passage, they then couldn't be held liable for following this unconstitutional law to begin with, no matter who the target of those letters might be, American or foreigner.

Which "legally" according to the common law upon which ours is based, our government has no Constitutional authority to so do either in order to forment their agendas or cover their rears for the Constitutional violations promoted against those "unalienable" rights (God-given), indemnify a corporate entity against liability for criminal activities.

But passive Americans and those now that have been "fed" by the television media to buy into such propaganda just goes to show how totally "rogue" most of those players on the Hill actually are at this point.

The dumbing down of America, all appearances of Washington's "concern" for the education fo our youth to the contrary, has been deliberate and progressively regressive insofar as American history and government.

Unbelieveable what this two party system has dissolved into, since it is apparent that the Global Socialists within each of them has control of the reins of both our government, and their "corporate" political parties.

Or have simply re-established the British Torie Party on these shores once again.

Of course the House still hasn't passed it yet, but the new game has been to pass such legislation as this, the Cap & Trade, the Violent Radicalization and Homegrown Terrorist Act, and a host of others in one branch, yet leave it in the hopper in the other without then a formal passage into law.

But then in some of those horrendously long appropriations bills, fund those "Non-Acts" anyway, as if they had the force of law.

Or simply codify a regulatory agency, such as Homeland Security, with authorization to execute on these non-Acts through those appropriations bills that are now also 1,000 pages long, while the media concentrates on the "pork" rather than the substantial sums appropriated also to fund NonActs of Congress more and more.

The "pork" isn't the problem, since most of that pork is simply returning the taxpayer's sums back to the states for their duties and functions - with the exception that with the feds holding the purse strings, they of course place conditions and strings then on those sums so the states also tow the federal line since the states really ceded their powers to the feds in all matters unconstitutionally with the passage of the 16th and 17th, and are nothing more than lobbyists also at the federal trough forever changing the balance of power and undermining regressively then the rights of the people from that day forward.

Of course, without the consent of the governed way back when per the 9th placed the states actually subservient to the people on further Constitutional amendments after passage of those first 10.

The games and spins are coming fast and furious off the Hill now, and so are those election promises once again, and creatively attempting to rewrite history in the process by both of those political parties which are collusive in their abridgements of the rights of the people, at this point that is for sure.

Maybe the next poll will reflect a -10 approval rating.

Shiavo vs. Quinlan: Two Different Right To Life Cases

After a posting by a citizen journalist from India, I did some research on the facts as published by various sources on two very different "right to life" cases in the United States, and also as one who was living and remembers both cases relatively well since one occurred in the 1970's-1980 and the last rather recently.

While both of these cases may seem similar to those not at all familiar with the relevant facts and details surrounding both the times, or history of both as either not living in the United States, or even born, below I have outlined some rather significant differences between the two that don't make the final outcome of either remotely similar.

Karen Quinlan's picture is embedded in the brains of most of the boomer generation from the one that was published during the decade long battle also over her life or death from her high school yearbook.

The events surrounding her accident and brain trauma injury were precipitated by a drug (Valium it was thought) and alcohol mixture taken at a party, from all reports, in concert with a severe diet and weight loss she had undertaken as a late teen prior to the event. She lapsed into a coma upon her return from the party, and never woke up.

Evidence was presented that it was possible she simply aspirated her own vomit rather than the drug and alcohol mixture being the true cause, but since the patient could not relate the events leading up to the coma, medical supposition also was involved as to what actually lead to the coma.

Her doctors used the words "persistent vegitative state" to describe the depth of the coma as one, upon their best medical opinion and belief, from which she would never recover.

She was on a respirator and being fed intravenously, and had little to no real brain activity.

Her parents petitioned the court to remove the respirator (not the feeding or hydration tubes) from her so that she might either live, or die, as God's will and during the case proceedings due to the fact that she was not breathing on her own, had little to no brain activity, and was in a deep, deep coma the judge eventually so ordered the respirator only be removed.

She then surprised the world and lived on for several years thereafter, though, breathing on her own and no additional attempts were then made in order to "end her suffering" since to the best of the medical community's knowledge, there is no real pain or suffering for most whose brains have suffered oxygen deprivation (thus the word "brain dead) to that extent. It was believed she went without oxygen for quite a while before she was resuscitated at the scene, and then thereafter.

Karen eventually died rather "naturally" of complications of pneumonia she eventually contracted at the extended care facility she was placed after the initial hospitalization.

Teri Schiavo, on the other hand, purportedly suffered her injury due to a fall while at home, according to her husband's account.

She was older than Karen Quinlan at the time her injury occurred which also resulted in a brain trauma injury due to either the fall, or the lack of oxygen also thereafter. Diet and a sudden weight loss also was involved or used as a contributing cause, although as with Karen, there had been no real medical problems in her past, and the injury and details of just what had occurred remained disputed by the medical experts.

She was, however, conscious to a certain extent, and not in a coma. She did have brain activity, although limited, and there was major damage to areas of the brain, and according to her parents who visited her religiously throughout the years, was responsive to a limited extent.

Rehabilitative efforts were initiated, but quickly abandoned by her husband after a large medical malpractice award was brought on her behalf by her husband, and which resulted in a large settlement meant to provide for her future rehabilitative and other needs and to supplement the insurance coverage she had at the time covering her injuries.

She could not feed herself or swallow, so was on intravenous feeding and hydration, and was "light" responsive, if I also remember the reports at the time correctly.

Her husband's character was brought into question by some of the individuals involved in providing for her needs at the various hospitals and care facilities, and eventually had "moved on" and established a pseudo-marriage with another woman that had resulted in also having a child or children prior to the resolution of Teri's fate through the Florida and federal court system.

In fact, by the time Teri's eventual fate was determined, he was in a clear "common law" marriage with another woman, and so for all intents and purposes was legally "divorced" from Teri during the process. A guardian was assigned as a supposed "neutral" third party, but who was also being paid from the proceeds of the settlement of Teri's medical malpractice claim, of which her (ex) husband was trustee.

She had two parents who then challenged the desire of her former husband to have the feeding tubes AND hydration tubes removed (although the press stressed merely the feeding tubes, rather than also hydration, as the basis of the case), who indicated that both financially and personally they would more than willing to provide for whatever additional care Teri would need until her natural death.

She was in her early 40's, and from all reports a devoted and practicing Catholic (who would never most likely even divorced a spouse due to religious beliefs except according to her Church teachings, nor consented to anything remotely likened to voluntary assisted suicide) when a federal judge in Florida ordered the removal of both the feeding and hydration tubes, whereupon she died 15 days later after literally starving and dehydrating to death.

Karen Quinlan was also raised Catholic.

Two "right to life" cases with the same outcome - death.

One process "natural," the other not so.

And very, very different.

The Austin Incident: A Desperate American Taking Desperate Measures?

In reading now all the news reports on the recent suicide crash of a man into a Texas office building housing the Internal Revenue Service, this act of desperation as is clear from his written messages prior to the incident is once again being spun by the media for public consumption.

This country is now in the worst recession/depression since the Great Depression prior to World War II. Many, many individuals are losing their homes, while watching a Congress and their state and local government continue to pass bill after bill supporting industry and the financial sector and Wall Street in additional taxation and/or an increasing deficit and its inflation taxes stripping them even more of their hard earned dollars - a dollar which is now at its lowest level ever against the foreign currency of most of the industrialized world with the exception of maybe Mexico.

Even the Southern Poverty Law Institute, that lawyer lead group that has been involved in facilitating actually more and more outsourcing of jobs and U.S. labor in focusing more and more on the "rights" of even non-Americans got into the Act, although claiming this didn't appear to be a "right wing extremist" attack, or an act of terrorism.

A group, by the way, that I wouldn't hesitate to guess is receiving federal funding and grant monies courtesy of the U.S. taxpayers as an "educational" institute, while bringing lawsuit after lawsuit against Americans protecting the "rights" of non-Americans indiscriminantly in a great many instances.

Hello? Has this group which is so left leaning it is off the map ever studied U.S. history and the amount of Americans, in their desperation, either committed suicide after they were left homeless, jobless and after losing all they had after the first banker manipulated depression in this country, or were so adversely impacted they ended up destitute and more than a few of which were institutionalized or incarcerated due to such acts of desperation?

So many are rushing to judgement, and I am not defending this individual or his actions in the slightest, although many are reaching in their judgement as far as asking such questions as:

a) Why didn't this individual file simply for bankruptcy; or

b) Why didn't he simply go to one of those corporate entities that assist Americans with heavy tax bills?

I for one, as one who has also been fundamentally affect due to the progressive policies of both Washington and my former home state's government can tell you that filing a bankruptcy in this country after the heavy lobbying once again of the financial sector is no easy matter, nor is it without cost in most instances.

And a "restructuring" due to its complications now also actually takes the assistance of a lawyers, lawyers who want to be paid in advance for their services, although the very reason such an individual would seek out their assistance is because they are "bankrupt."

Should it take paying a corporate concern to act as an intermediary in this country on tax issues in order to deal with this out of control agency, as has been the case for many an American after the "quick" and "speedy" passage of the 16th Amendment, along with the 17th and Federal Reserve Act which has progressively taken us more and more into global corporate socialism?

Due to the many complaints of the public in the past, Congress's solution was to again expand government and create another agency, the Taxpayer Advocacy office, to assist delinquent taxpayers, however, it appears this solution also was no solution at all. Instead of more closing monitoring this agency and their practices itself.

Now in addition to simply seeking payment for any and all delinquent taxes which are due, this agency has so many levels of "punishments" piled on to some of those taxes that the fines, fees and penalties many times exceed the actual tax due.

Did those founding fathers intend that the tax laws in this country were to be favorable to the government as a profit making venture, or simply in order to pay the actual costs of those duties and functions for which the federal (and state) governments were responsible?

We all know at this point that there are so many "outside" benefactors now due to special interest lobbying and greed in using our government in order to bulk up their profits and reduce their risks and losses at the public's expense after the illegal creation of "corporate person-hood" as another party to the Constitution way back when by a rogue Supreme Court ruling.

Or at least most of those even minimally political aware individuals in this country are. At least with respect to being negligent in its true duties and functions in actually regulating commerce, especially those national and global concerns, operating in the United States in order to protect those Bill of Rights protections which were meant to prohibit much of what is occurring today. Not give "property" a voice in government, or unequal "privileges or immunities" under the common law which existed when this nation was founded.

And especially not extending any Bill of Rights protections.

I don't know what lead this man to react and do what he did, but it appears due to the tenor of much of his notes and state of mind at the time, this truly was a desperate American taking a most desperate measure, and also lost his life in the process.

And I fear that as this recessionary depression, unfortunately, we just may see more and more of such occurrences happening, until our leaders start honoring their true job functions and public service positions rather than seeking re-election from the very moment that they first run for office.

Mr. Obama is now traveling the nation on behalf of those Democrats now running for office, when there are so many, many Americans still being left homeless and jobless, and while the economy in this country continues to tank.

What a tragedy, and truly appears to me could have been avoided from the rather cryptic reports at this point, and have no idea of truly just what transpired that lead this man to such lengths, but it is clear that in carrying out such a desperate act, there is something rotten in an America that such an event could ever have taken place.

We are paying untold fortunes to protect now most of our governmental officials and buildings, and since a great deal of our legislation now is actually focused more and more in removing Americans "unalienable" or "God given" rights, is it any wonder that such occurrences now are happening more and more, instead of less and less?

It's Not Simply Fast Food That Has Harmed America's Children

With all the mainstream media reports out on the cause celebre' taken on by Mrs. Obama with respect to the detrimental effects of fast food and obesity in children, and flack also that has been at the top of some news stories in relating battles she has had with her own children, it appears to me and many Americans that "fast food" isn't the only harm that has progressively affected America's children.

Our educational system has also "progressively" taken on a "fast food" mentality throughout most of the nation.

As an example, in my generation (the boomer generation), phonics was the order of the day, and Dick and Jane. Learning phonics was tough, and it took about five full years to master all the intricacies due to all the different vowel sounds, consonants and blends which went into learning the English language.

Today, teacher's send home "memory lists" for children to learn the fundamental nouns, verbs and adjectives, which may work in the short term but certainly is a "fast food" method of teaching reading and vocabulary.

I mean, in a pinch if a child hears the word but has no clue insofar as even how it begins phonetically, then how in the world can they even use a dictionary to find out the meaning of the word?

I ran into this so many times with my own children, it got to be very frustrating as a parent. And once learned, most of those harder vocabulary words from those memory lists were soon forgotten.

As far as reading comprehension and retention, due to the focus now on computers and word lists, I found that if a sentence has a comma in it, most kids have lost the train of thought before they even finish the sentence.

The "new" vocabulary is BTW, LOL and if a sentence has more than three words in it, they are lost.

Most teachers today appear to be focusing more and more on prepping kids for those standarized measurement tests that occur throughout the year, than they do actually teaching the fundamentals anymore.

Although I wouldn't hesitate to guess it really isn't the teachers, but the "progressively" expanding federal, state and local officials that are involved in the curriculum that is taught in most of the schools.

In fact, there are as many levels of "government" in our educational system as there are now in our government itself. We have federal, state, city and school boards, in addition to public/private partnerships such as the Council on Foreign Relations whose members consist of many university staff and professors, now determing curriculum for those teachers, to whom they must answer primarily and not in most respects the parents in those local communities in any manner whatsoever.

And if those expensive computers or calculators break down, watch out. It's a run to the nearest computer store for new batteries, or another calculator so that the "new math" can be mastered by plugging in all those figures correctly.

I met many a parent while raising my kids at the local retailer at 8:59 needing batteries so that Junior could finish their homework.

And those computers and calculators don't come cheap, either. For a single mother, say, getting $500.00 per month when one of those new calculators are close to $200, that's over 2/3rds her child support check for the month in many homes, if she is receiving any at all.

The focus now on "fast food" insofar as America's children just goes, once again, to show the "socialism" bent that has taken hold of this country in how things appear to others, including our kid's weight, rather than focusing on what truly will give them a sense of accomplishment and self-worth by first focusing on the inside, and let those tumultuous teen years take care of the exterior, as any adult surely knows that during that particular stage, body image is everything.

And by that time, some of that baby fat will naturally be gone for most, unless there is a genetic propensity toward greater body fat content, as most parents with older children or have "been there, done that" can attest.

And with all the problems that this country is now facing that impacts and threatens our youth, isn't childhood obesity a rather superficial, and irrelevant focus at this point in our history?

I mean, with some of those Supreme Court decisions which have been handed down under this Administration, and the last, especially post 9-11, and "progressively" it would appear that "memory lists" don't work for even at the Ivy League university level, since it appears our Court has forgotten both American history, and those fundamental principles upon which this nation was built as a sovereign country, "of the PEOPLE, by the PEOPLE, and for the PEOPLE," and NOT the corporate.

And that Kelo decision, wow, does that have the potential to adversely affect them and their futures far more than having another cookie or donut.

Or the threat for them and their posterity in the continuing outsourcing and insourcing of Americal labor, or selling off America's infrastucture to foreign governments and individuals.

Now those are real threats.

"Progress" is not always good. And it appears that our children are the living proof that "fast education" has more negatives than positives,

And Dick, Jane and Sally were more "politically correct" than the progressives in both politics, and education, have given credit.

BTW.

Effects Of Nuclear Testing Contributing To Natural Disasters?

With the continued discussions with respect to the monumental earthquake that occurred recently in Haiti, the largest recorded quake in the region for at least this past half century, a fundamental question has been posed by many as to the degree and impact of this particular quake taken in conjunction with the Asian tsunami which occurred several years ago.

North Korea has actively been involved in testing its nuclear capability and quite recently. France conducted such tests regularly and routinely within the South Pacific for literally decades, merely discontinuing the practice in 1996 after many Tahitian islanders had been affected by the radioactivity which was the result of those underground and above ground tests.

Literally thousands of underground tests were conducted after World War II until the mid to late 1990's.

Most of such testing was done underground. Two of the largest faultlines are near Haiti, and near San Francisco in the United States.

Tsunami's are the result of underground activity also due to shifts in the plates of the Earth's core in order to release energy and pressure along those fault lines, as are earthquakes.

Is it such a leap to conclude that detonating nuclear bombs within the Earth's core itself would not contribute to increasing the pressures within those fault lines, thus increasing the number and severity of such natural disasters as a result?

Below is a link by a writer who studied and reported on the Asian tsunami's and testing which was occurring in that region at the time, or several years prior to its occurrence.

The United States is now taking in thousands of Haitian victims of this disaster, along with an additional 26,000 which have been extended political asylum as refugees in this country from Iraq as a result of the ongoing conflicts in the Middle East.

Hydrogen bombs, of course, also were utilized by the military of many nations prior to the discovery of nuclear fission and the nuclear bomb, and also involved widespread testing both above, and below, ground.

It would appear that scientists that are involved in global warming might want to start studying the impact of these tests rather than simply blaming it on the civilan population and its "carbon footprints" insofar as the increase in these "natural" disasters, which just may be speeding up the heating of the Earth's core itself, a natural planetary progression, as a result.

And the question is, will these "new" taxes which the U.N. and globalists deem are critical in order to address this non-phenomena that appears has been the result, or at least contributed to, by some of the decisions of the governmental and military leaders in the various nations, going to be used for good or evil since it appears that taxing the population and citizens inthe various countries and using those taxes to invest in science and technology in the past, at least, has not always been used for positive gain and just may have lead to any increases in the Earth's warming that are being recorded today.

Although at this point, even that conclusion is being widely disputed.

President's Day Or Constitution Day?

While Americans are being bombarded with the television and print ads for the great sales that can be had today, President's Day, maybe it is time for a step back in history in order to view this holiday for what it is, and what it was never supposed to be.

When I was younger, there were two holidays in February, one celebrating George Washington's birthday, and one then also celebrating Abraham Lincoln's birthday - two of our historically revered presidents for their accomplishments given their rather humble beginnings and backgrounds.

Of course, Washington himself would have been apalled at such an idea in this country that was based most of all as one in which the President actually had very little power, intentionally so, in order to keep our government separate and apart from that of most of Europe whose governments were above the people, and not at all accountable to them with respect to their lives and/or property rights.

In fact, one of the greatest historical arguments on record after that first election was the title for the individual holding the title of the highest office in the land.

John Adams, of course, had a hard time breaking free of his "sovereign" ideas insofar as this new government was concerned on this point, and attempted to get the officeholder a "title of nobility," similar to that of Great Britain, the country we fought an entire war to break free from that monarchial style of government, and that ruler's control.

He wished to put words like "Supreme" and highlight the "commander in chief" roles in time of attack when this nation was at war, which was the primary focus actually for this new office, other than as one of the checks in the branches of government over any proposed legislation given primarily simply the right of veto power (of course, with Congress then given the power to overrule even the presidential veto upon a supermajority vote).

Mr. Washington, of course, disagreed - and disagreed most vehemently, and who was elected by a unanimous vote of the people and the Congress (at which time, the electoral process did not include political parties or partisanship to the degree to which it has progressively undermining the electoral process as a result, and the announcement of the "winner" simply released to the public after an official counting by the head of the Senate, the sitting Vice President as one of his rather elementary duties also).

He insisted that the provision be made that "no titles of nobility" became henceforth a part of our Constitution, and was a humble man and insisted on simply being called, "Mr. President."

Quite unlike the last presidential election held in this country with all the hoopla and expense of a coronation, and with President's Day now mostly a commercial holiday now and stressing the "executive" rather than his intended rather minimal role envisioned by those founders

I think Mr. Washington would support a new "change" since this Administration has made "change" one of its foremost goals with respect to the prior administration and its excesses with respect to both the office, the officeholder, and extra-Constitutional functions which also "regressively" have occurred where now this office has expanded to the point that those founders never, ever intended.

Maybe instead of now all the focus being turned once again to possibly entering into another war on behalf of other foreign nations with respect to the continued involvement of this country in the Middle East on behalf of Israel and Great Britain's pre-World War I accord (from which country two terrorists attacks have caused Americans to first now have to remove their shoes prior to boarding domestic airlines - which are now also globally owned outside Constitutional intent, and potentially after this last attack, even their underwear, or undergo invasive body scanners being installed in many airports as this is written), a clear recognition once again of our true intended form of government is needed.

Happy American Constitution Day all.

We Are The World, Part II

As the mainstream media and Hollywood musicians gear up for another fundraiser for the relief efforts in Haiti with the release now of a recycled "We Are The World" video that was featured during the opening ceremony of the Olympics, there are some that have been heavily involved in questioning once again the official stories with respect to the catastrophy in Haiti last month that, in my opinion, bear a little scrutiny.

Especially with the announcement by the Obama Administration that the United States once again is poised to build another nuclear reactor this time in Georgia (and I hope this one, after being funded - or billed to the deficit - by the American taxpayers isn't again privatized and shares sold on the global stock exchange once again affording foreign ownership of another nuclear reactor in this country) all the while condemning Iran's continued uranium enrichment programs which that country's leadership continues to defend as merely a way for it to also go "nuclear" for its power and energy needs.

I guess I don't really understand politics at all, at this point, since it would appear that since the U.S. has continued to enrich uranium for its power and energy needs, especially with this new announcement, is it not hypocritical then to condemn other nations since we were, after all, the first to go "nuclear" for our power and energy needs to begin with?

Iran's uranium enrichment program may be a threat to the government and people of Israel in that it MAY be used for ulterior motives, but since they also have gone nuclear and have their own stockpile of nuclear weaponry, this debate continues to puzzle not simply me at this point.

Part of the development of nuclear reactors and uranium enrichment also involves nuclear testing and many of such tests have been conducted throughout the world since the discovery of nuclear fission.

The tests are conducted below ground, of course, thus affecting the plates that compose the Earth's subterranean core, as it were, and thus any and all nuclear testing which is done also has the potential of disrupting and shifting some of those plates.

It has also been interesting the involvement of the Hollywood community once again for what occurred in Haiti, and the reports of the deaths which have occurred have varied according to which mainstream media reporting agency is doing the reporting, of course.

With the amount of Americans now homeless and jobless, especially in the West and Southwest, I find the involvement of the Hollywood community on behalf of this effort rather surprising, given that there are as many homeless in our country as have been impacted in Haiti.

If each of those recording artists that donated their time for the "We Are The World" Part II session simply donated 10% of their earnings alone, Haiti could be reconstructed by the end of 2010, I'm sure.

Perhaps getting out of the studio a little more often and looking around, they might decide eventually to do a "We Are The Country" video, you think?

Since the unemployment rate and joblessness in this country is now approaching that of the Great Depression, from all economic indicators. I mean asking the disappearing middle class to kick in their mortgage, grocery or utility payment for Haiti is a little much given what is occurring in this country at this time.

The increases now also in violent personal and property crimes and loss of lives staggering, and increasing also by the year since there are many truly desperate people out there who have truly lost everything they had and their homes and not due to "nature" or malfeasance in nuclear testing, but greed of the U.S. government and its banksters, whether foreign or domestic.

And why are all those agencies that are involved simply requesting cash, instead of blankets, water and food to aid these victims ala Katrina, when it is now well known that a great deal of the relief monies sent by the American people to help with that relief effort never went to the victims at all, but those individuals and agencies now using disasters, natural or otherwise, as economic stimulators of their own?

The Mortgage/Foreclosure Rescue Is No Rescue

It appears that the much ballyhooed mortgage rescue for all those homeowners living in primarily the West and Southwest, and Michigan appears to have been no rescue at all.

Last month once again saw a record number of foreclosures in those states and there has been no significant rebound of the housing market throughout the nation. Of course, the boom and bust cycle has been blamed by the mainstream media in claims that most of those buyers either "borrowed too much" or bought too much home.

As one who lived for many years in a state that has seen these boom and bust cycles since the 1970's, Arizona, I can tell you there is much more to it than that.

What lead to this disaster simply has not been widely reported, nor has been addressed in any significant manner by either this, or the prior Administrations.

What hasn't been disclosed in the mainstream media is the fact that most of those states are "foreclosure friendly" states to begin with, and states with a high turnover rate due to the fact that they are retirement states for most of the Canadian and East Coast retirees.

And that most of those new loans and refinances weren't simply "creative" loans, or even "interest only" loans at all, but many were not even based on the U.S. prime interest rates, but on the London banking rates (the LIBOR, or London Interest Bearing Origination Rate).

At the current exchange rate, that means most of those loan adjustments will be based on a currency rate that is one and a half times that of the U.S. dollar at this point.

Which means that an adjusted rate of 3% based on the London market rates is another one and a half percent over one based on the U.S. prime.

With all the publicity and mass media promotion of the Fed's slashing interest rates during this economic tsunami, little has been said that if a home mortgage rate isn't even based on the U.S. prime, the Fed's slashing of interest rates isn't going to assist in any significant manner whatsoever those home buyers who were "sold" loans based on a foreign currency and interest rate.

Which begs the question, how in the world could U.S. charter banking institutions be selling mortgage loans in this country that are not even based on the U.S. currency to the American public?

One of the prime lenders of these loans was based in Michigan, and most of the others were based in California, although even the Michigan bank which is under investigation at this time, it was announced, heavily sold loans in the West and Southwest through its offices there. However, nothing has been published on the London bank rate loans some of these entities were selling to the unsuspecting public.

Interestingly enough also, those states that are affected have the highest number of Canadian retirees, or as with Michigan, border Canada. Which would mean perhaps that those banks were attempting to compete with the Canadian banks for a share of the Canadian market for homes purchased by Canadians in the United States but using "their" currency rates in order to so do thus bulking up the profits of those lenders in the process.

And they were bankrupt?

Which is even more troubling that banks in this country which are federally insured by the FDIC and Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac would be compromising the economy of this country on behalf of foreign investors in second "vacation" home properties, or were somehow unaware that their affiliated banks were selling loans based on a foreign interest rate or currency. That would be highly suspect, as such information would be readily discernible during any bank audit, and I'm sure one or two of those big box lenders especially in California had to have been audited during that boom.

Although many of the Canadians especially in Arizona only live in the United States for six months out of the year, they don't pay any U.S. federal or state income taxes nor a proportionate share of the sales and other taxes United States full time resident citizens pay, although as with the bank bailouts, it was the United States citizens that ate the risk for those banks that wrote many of those loans for those foreigners who defaulted also, since many were second homes to begin with and while they may have lost their investment for most of those huge closing costs that also were a part of some of those loans, they didn't lose their true "home" at all.

Not like the Americans who were also sold those loans in order to both bulk up the profits of those banks, and also assume some of the risk through the backdoor for those loans which were sold to the Canadian market.

While Obama then "saves" the pension plans of the GM Canadian workers, while giving the "buck up, we all must sacrifice" speech to the U.S. autoworkers in Detroit then that were laid off.

It appears this proclaimed "citizen of the world", as with the last Administration, is more concerned with appeasing the "world" audience and investors, rather than protecting the homesteads of the U.S. citizens.

Since the actual terms and conditions of those loans actually have not changed when there was no meaningful regulatory functions included with the bank bailouts.

Instead, it does appear that in this Administration is promoting now primarily refinances, and advertising these slashed Fed rates for new home buyers and purchases with tax credits, it would appear, again the "hook" so that instead of "rescuing" or protecting the U.S. citizens home investment, the Obama Administration is simply working for the European bankers and attempting to get more and more Americans into those fraudulent London market rate loans so that even more Americans lose their homes during the next boom and bust cycle.

This "rescue" sounds more like a set up for the next generation, and those retiree boomers, or possibly the "new" Americans that Congress and this Administration, as the last, wishes to "legalize," who cannot read English or at least might have a little trouble with all that legalese now in those 50 page loan docs.

You know all those "kids" that this Administration and the last used at election time in order to score points with the voters, to be the next victims in another ten to twenty years, in order to lose even the small amount of equity they may have built up with those usurous rates.

I do believe that there may be more important legislation needed here than the No Child Left Behind Act in order to protect America's children from the banking industry so that maybe they, too, can someday truly realize the American dream of home ownership and not simply "stewardship" for the British or the U.S. banks working in partnership of their home and land.

And now these properties in the West and Southwest are once again being hawked in the East Coast and Canadian markets for the upcoming boomer generation - many of whom are hardly the golf cart type, but be forewarned all you East Coast and Canadian tenderfoots. Promoting all the "steals" now that can be had.

The term "steal" is actually quite accurate, in this case, literally.

The British bankers are on their way to reclaiming the West and Southwest for the Crown, with the assistance of the Tories in Washington who apparently are selling not only a great deal of our vital industries and infrastructure to foreigners through the "global" stock market, but now even the private land in this country through the backdoor by not simply not regulating the U.S. banks and their lending practices, but actually facilitating a British takeover of our entire country parcel by parcel, as it were.

Global Warming? DC Sets Record 55 Inches

It appears the global warming scam by those globalists in the United States Congress is coming home to roost, as this new "propaganda based technology" or global taxing scheme reveals that weather is quite changeable. And the change which has occurred this year is not unusual warming trends for most areas of the country, but a historic cold spell.

Local news casts throughout the nation have been following the major storms which have been occuring in the East Coast, with Washington D.C. receiving over 55 inches of snowfall this year, setting a record.

The mainstream media traced the record back to 1899, although I do wonder whether even such information was recorded that far back, but this winter has not been one that has been on the warm side as the federal offices have been shut down rarely in the past due to weather conditions and tomorrow will make the third day that all federal offices will be closed.

Which does go to demonstrate that while there may be climatic changes which are cyclical in nature, it would appear that most of the shifts in weather throughout the world are happening in areas which have in the past also had major weather disturbances.

It is also well known that as planetary masses age, most warming is created internally by the heating of the Earth's core - which actually was what was taught in my generation in the schools during our science classes as scientific fact, and not theory.

Which warming also causes the plates in the Earth's interior to shift, causing a great many of the earthquakes and other weather disturbances that have occurred, including tidal waves and tsunami's.

It would appear that the Creator may be just having the last word, as a Global Warming Conference scheduled in Washington, it was announced, was cancelled by snow.

Gee, I hope all those scientists can get reimbursed for their expense accounts for all those airline tickets and four star hotel reservations for this conference.

In order to do their part to reduce the amount of carbon emissions, wouldn't you think in this day and age of satellite technology, these scientists could hobnob via satellite, and thus save also the costs for rescheduling some of these governmental perks of the taxpaying public if they were serious about the "threat" of global warming?

Super Bowl Sunday: And The Saints Go Marching In

As a boomer who remembers the first SuperBowl back in the '60s and the Steelers/Cowboys/Jets/Colts/Redskins eras, it has been interesting also "politically" to see just how this one game has changed from its inception to last Sunday's SuperBowl and all the hoopla leading up to it.

Especially those commercial breaks, and the half time entertainment.

What started out simply as a game between two rival football groups and franchises, the AFC and the NFC, has evolved into a yearly event that is choreographed now almost a year in advance insofar as the politics that go in insofar as even the selection of a venue for this all important game.

This year, of course, the Saints finally made it to "the Bowl," and the Who Dats, for the first time in 43 years, came back with the trophy to a city still reeling from the devastation of Katrina almost five years ago and in which the amount of citizens and residents has dwindled, while the amount of long and short term visitors and foreigners has increased in leaps and bounds.

Many native born and long term residents have "moved on," to other states and will not be returning. Once was enough for them, and since then another, Gustav, even occurred which then swelled the number of visitors to the City of Baton Rouge which already was bursting at the seams with the overflow from those also former New Orleans residents, some of whom now have suffered two devastating losses of homes or property in less than five years.

The Saints needed this win like no other. And the people of New Orleans are very loyal and grateful fans of "them Blessed Boys."

I still find it interesting that the Superbowl in this country, one in which the majority of Americans still claim to have a belief in God, is played on a Sunday to begin with, and why a Sunday was selected especially when college bowl games and such are over by New Year's week. This also puts a wrench in some of those travel plans in order to be back at work then on Monday after all that celebratin', especially now that it is held on Sunday nights and not during the day.

And, of course, now the "season" has been extended another week from the original which were held the last Sunday in January for many years.

The SuperDome, of course, used to be the the premiere venue for the SuperBowl after it was built for many of those games.

It, of course, suffered a great deal of damage after Katrina, but is back and the home field once again for the Saints.

Its just too bad that the game couldn't have been played in New Orleans this year, instead of Miami.

I would think that in order to acknowledge the true fans and contributors to the NFL franchises and those teams who buy all those trinkets and pay those now outrageous sums for season and individual tickets, that a game such as this one should be played on one of the two "finalists" home fields, wouldn't you?

I mean, the influx of tourism would help pay back some of those fans for their investment in those teams through all those seasons and all those games.

I know it might complicate those travel arrangements for some of those league officials and others who need to send advance teams to those locations in order to set up the camera crews and backdrops for some of the commentators and advertisers, but is that who is really important in the end, or the people that have stood in line and bought their tickets for so many years?

Perhaps in the future the selection of a home field for the game could be determined either by the regular season records of both, or on a coin toss.

Those that need to book their travel arrangements months in advance, well there is always local affiliates that could help with some of those arrangements by putting up a few of you executives and high end advertisers in their homes and thus maybe eventually reducing the price of some of those tickets in the process, or the price of your products.

I mean, this is a time of economic recovery in America, is it not, with a disappearing middle class which is being literally destroyed, for all intents and purposes.

It was also interesting to note that the half-time show was outsourced to a 60's era British rocker group, The Who.

Now I am a Who fan as one who did grow up in that era, but for such a national event such as the American SuperBowl, don't you think we could next year "in source" rather than "out source" the half time entertainment, with the exception perhaps of a rerun of Janet Jackson's performance?

I mean were Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, Simon and/or Garfunkel, Jefferson Airplane (Starship), or the remaining members of the Grateful Dead or Paul Revere and the Raiders all booked up, since it would appear they also could use the gig and may also be some of those in the disappearing middle class?

Is the half time entertainment also the subject of some of those free trade agreements, or are U.S. rock bands also headlining the halftime shows at the National Soccer/Football Championships in Europe and/or Canada?

Isn't it time you also contributed your part to the American Economic Recovery and Relief Effort, Commissioner?

Partisan Politicking Continues While Americans' Lives Compromised

The partisan political backbiting and grandstanding continues between America's two political parties gearing up for the 2010 election cycle.

Recently, an advisor on terrorism with the Obama Administration, John Brennan, was interviewed and appeared on Meet the Press in an interview regarding the purported Christmas Day arrest of a supposed member of al Qaeda with links that have been traced back to his recruitment in Yemen by this terrorist organization.

Most of his comments were geared toward defending the Obama Administration's decision to try this individual in the U.S. criminal courts rather than military tribunals, and attacks on the Republican Party members who have criticized this decision publicly since.

In attempting to score points for the Obama Administration and Democratic Party members, Mr. Brennan failed to mention, of course, that such political backstabbing and grandstanding has become the usual course of events post one of these occurrences, and nothing has changed actually with respect to truly redressing the actual climate and conditions which have continued to make such events now almost a routine occurrence.

And that is the globalization and privatization of a great deal of America's infrastructure, open borders policies of both this and the last few Administrations since Reagan and initial attacks as far back as 1992, and placing corporate profits and special interests above the primary job of the federal government itself - to protect America and Americans from foreign attacks - whether civilian or military.

Most of our nuclear reactors and domestic and international airlines are listed on the global stock exchange, affording foreign governments and foreign interests (even those that have been labeled as "unfriendly") to purchase stock and ownership in critical and vital U.S. industries. Thus, foreigners now own controlling interests in even our nuclear reactors, for heaven sake, many of which are mere miles from heavily populated metro areas.

And the Bush Administration (with a Democratic Congress) afforded free pass visa waivers with mere 48 hour security checks to over 34 different nations in his last 100 days in office, which policies still remain. Our borders are being opened even wider, and our economy merged more and more with that of foreign governments and interests - so is it any wonder that more and more of these attacks or "failed" attempts are now being discovered?

I mean, we are still engaged in an interventionist war in Iraq which is, for all intents and purposes, being continued under the Bush agendas and expanded yet are affording more and more foreign investment and commercial entry and exit visas during this "undeclared" war under the leadership of both of the mainstream political parties in this country.

With more and more Americans dropping out of those affiliations by the day due to the clearly "corporate special interest" takeover of those parties progressively by the globalists, including Mr. Bush and now Mr. Obama.

America's prime real estate is now being bought up by foreign interests due to this banker manipulated recession, and in effect, foreigners are gaining more and more voice and power with respect to America's foreign and domestic policies through both of those mainstream political parties at this point.

Again, the "change" that has occurred clearly is not the "change" most Americans were seeking - a return to Constitutional government and protection of American lives and livelihoods from foreign competition and agendas at the cost of the American people in both their lives, and their livelihoods due to the global socialism that is running rampant at both the federal, and now the state, levels due to the blackmail and bribery that is occuring more and more at the state and local levels unless they also cowtow to Washington's extra-Constitutional edicts and agendas.

With all that stimulus money going mostly to the local coffers with strings attached yet with them still claiming shortfalls, especially with the massive sums being handed out with respect to domestic surveillance and security matters more and more (and not primarily surveillance of foreigners in this country, but more and more Americans also speaking out about the "corporate" favoring policies and "privileges" at the citizen's expense which are increasing) in addition to even attaching strings to sums that the federal government is legally required to provide under the Constitution for roadways and infrastructure needs, the states also are to blame in their negligence in protecting the citizenry now also from Washington's power moves at the citizens expense.

It appears that such forums as "Meet the Press" are again being used for both ratings, and campaign purposes, rather than getting to the crux of the matter insofar as national security issues also are concerned.

Whether this individual is tried in civilian or military courts is actually inconsequential to many Americans at this point.

But just why are these attacks continuing now at an unprecedented rate, when prior to the amalgamization of the U.S. economy and its infrastructure itself, such incidents never occurred due to the fact that in prior generations those individuals that wished to either visit this country, or immigrate, were screened far better than they are today and also there were limited entry and exit points for any and all foreign visitors and immigrants.

My grandparents immigrated in the 20's, and at that time there was one major entry point for all U.S. visitors or immigrants and that was in New York. And had to have both a sponsor, and a thorough background check prior to entry, even going so far as having a thorough dental examination.

Animals are quarantined in Great Britain for a full year prior to their being afforded to "merge" with the animal population there. And we are to the point that the precautions taken in order to protect the animal population and even the agricultural industries and their profits, far exceed now those taken to protect the human population in the United States.

We still have fairly porous borders both north and south, even after the loss of an estimated three times the amount of lives which were lost in 9-11 in the nine years since domestically in crimes committed by foreigners, and untold loss of property by those living in the border states.

The political posturing and now mudslinging at this point does appear to make one wonder since these national security issues are being used more and more for partisan politicking in election years that you could say that actually domestic terrorism has become a "job stimulus" for the two mainstream political parties themselves to bend and use for their self-interests.

The primary question that needed to be asked during this "interview" never was broached in any significant manner whatsoever.

Just why are our borders still open, and why is our federal government continuing to favor corporate special interests and their "rights," and profit margins in this Administration and the lasts in the visa and immigration policies for this country, and in affording foreign investment in our vital industries and real estate to boot post 9-11, over the national security and protection of the American people from foreign invasion and attack, their primary purpose and job?

APP Reports Decrease in American Unemployment Rate

The APP (American Propaganda Press) reported today that unemployment figures are in, and according to the U.S. Department of Labor there was a slight decrease in the number of unemployed Americans for January over December, from 10 percent to 9.7%.

I suppose a .3 percent decrease warrants heralding by the press corp and Obama Administration. However, it does appear that several factors have been left out of the equation since the U.S. Department of Labor basically uses the amount of Americans that are collecting unemployment as their guideline in their reporting figures most of all.

Without, of course, reporting that many Americans are still quite jobless (and homelessness is increasing in the West and Southwest particularly) and have simply run out of their unemployment benefits at this point in this almost four year economic depression which began in earnest during the summer of 2006 under a Republican president and Democratic Congress (including Mr. Obama).

Also, those figures are offset by the number of "new jobs" the Obama Administration has created at the cost of the American taxpayers in further expanding governmental jobs, especially in the gadget and spying on Americans industry, most of which are employed by that governmental agency and department created by the Bush Administration post 9-11, the Department of Homeland Insecurity.

The Department that believes that using gadgets primarily strip searching Americans and expanding Silicon Valley's bottom lines is less costly and more effective and efficient than truly securing our national borders with Mexico and Canada per the 2006 Secure Fence Act (even in going so far as Congress appropriating and giving more and more foreign aid to Mexico so that the Mexican government can "buy" some of Silicon Valley's gadets which are then billed to the American people under that SPP (Security and Prosperity Partnership "No Trade" Agreement and while California still cries poverty due to its extra-Constitutional excesses over the years under Mr. Schwartzenegger).

Of course, most of those terrorists, drug cartel members, human smugglers and auto theft rings that operate cross borders do not enter this country at the ports of entry but in the middle of the desert in the middle of the night.

The West and Southwest, due also to this manipulated economic crisis for the international bankers, Wall Street and the global stock exchanges now has more Canadians full time and "part time" winter or seasonal home owners living there due to their higher currency rate actually than illegal Mexicans. Who only live there during about six months of the year, but for which the American and Arizona residents have paid the bulk of those taxes funding all the programs, extra roads, golf courses, fountains and such that this mecca for the Canadian (and East Coast) snow birds demand.

And the numbers are increasing, since there are also quite a few British and Canadians moving into Louisiana and the New Orleans area post Katrina.

In fact, I was informed there is a local city ordinance which has been enacted by the City of New Orleans calling for a deadline for people who lost their homes during the hurricane to either rebuild, or forfeit their land and ownership rights.

The ultimate tragedy, it appears, is going to be used by the government in order to facilitate the ultimate land grabs for the state and city coffers, developers and foreigners - Brad Pitt's efforts notwithstanding.

And with that latest Supreme Court decision which came down the pike for the financial sector and industries eventual benefit now that the corporate lawyers are lining up in order to expand the applicability of that redefinition of the American citizens (not corporate special interests) First Amendment protections, I just wonder how long it will be before all land in this country is "corporately" owned and all those company towns circa the 1800's are re-established as MacDonaldsville, DuPontville and Microsoft City?

The only new jobs which have been created actually have been in the science and technology propaganda fields (global warming) and "spying on Americans" government jobs at this point.

While our industrial and manufacturing base (especially the U.S. auto industry, one of our primary exports in years gone by) has been outsourced by this Administration, as with the last Administration in their "go global" globalists beliefs, to China, India and Mexico, and our military are now protecting and defending those foreign plants and workers in foreign nations more and more, not to mention foreign governments such as our continued involvement with Israel, which to many Americans at this point should be simply declared another U.S. territory or state with all the military and financial support it has been given since World War II, even after its development of its own crack military and nuclear bomb capabilities.

Mention in the article was made of the "devastated" construction industry.

Say what?

In Louisiana, Texas and Florida the construction industry is the only sector that has seen an increase in jobs due to the numerous disasters which have occurred in that region, and most of the hotels and such are full of government contractor and other construction related employees and where most of the hotel industry is getting their revenue at this point, in addition to those winter visitors to DisneyWorld from Canada and Japan.

Problem is, most of those construction workers are also "outsourced" workers either from other states (as one family member of a local construction company in Louisiana related to me upon a visit to New Orleans recently since I have family living there), or from Mexico.

Relying on the U.S. Department of Labor for such statistical data does appear that our fourth estate is now also the beneficiary of outsourcing to both foreigners (as with the purchase of a great deal of our print and television media by a former Brit), and U.S.A., Inc. itself.

Citizens United: Washington, Supreme Court Reinstituting British Rule of Law?

As the hoopla continues post the presidential address last week over the comments made by Barack Obama regarding the heinous Supreme Court decision with respect to amending the Constitution once again in order to grant more and more privileges and immunities to the phantom "corporate personhood" created by a rogue Supreme Court in the late 1800's, little mention has been made of just who "corporately" will benefit the most over this latest Constititional Bill of Rights trashing.

The corporate media owners and Wall Street once again.

Interesting that such a decision would be selected by the Supreme Court to begin with and at this point in our history (who somehow have given themselves the power to refuse more and more cases brought by the actual citizens in this country, without "corporate" backing over Constitutional provisions, such as their refusals of groups addressing the 16th Amendment, and recently even the citizenship status of the individual holding the highest office in the land due to his unusual upbringing primarily outside the U.S. during most of his formative years).

Interesting due to the fact that it is those advertising revenues for those advertisements which have been dwindling for those media concerns also progressively with more and more newspapers now going belly up, and competition stiff for those ad dollars, after the advent of cable television now that there are over 95 stations for the American people to choose from and more and more appear to be choosing the weather station most of all.

This past presidential election cycle lasted for two full years, in essence with Illinois and Arizona without full Senate representation for major votes, even by those unduly elected representatives to begin with (since the Senate was comprised in the original Constitutional provisions and intent of the founders to be the voice primarily for the states, with the House the voice of the people, and Senate representatives and elections were to be decided by the various state legislatures for selection of Senators, which then kept the corporate influence other than the states issues at bay or diluted more so at least in the Senate).

And with the Murdoch machine (an actual Brit who simply became an American in order to buy up a great deal of America's print and television media, and who has used his influence and money to sway the political balances in two other countries, Great Britain and Australia previously) promoting his British style conservatism, interesting the timing of both this decision, and the holding of the Court which was more along the British style, once again, of Constitutional interpretation with respect to America's Bill of Rights protections - which was clearly intended for the citizens against the corporate, both governmental and otherwise (remember the Boston Tea Party and the East India Company's "sovereign status" with King George?).

It appears once again Washington is feeding Wall Street and its "sovereign subjects" again at the cost of the American public at large, and undermining the very fabric of our Constitution with respect to representative government in the process, which has been consistently the case now for well over 100 years by those progressives that continue to be selected by each and every Republican or Democratic "corporate" party platform and Administration.

Which platforms also supercede in many respects the actual provisions of the Constitution, and which have hijacked our political process also "progressively," per George Washington's warnings in his famous Farewell Address.

Also interesting is the group that brought this action, and their true corporate status, since it appears that although it has been also represented that this was a citizen rights focused group, as one in which there is also a claimed "educational" focus, it is also eligible for federal grant monies in matching sums.

So in essence, the federal government itself appears it is using some of these supposed "liberty as commerce" groups that have sprung up in the years since 9-11 in order to use the flag, patriotism and the public at large in order to continue to strip Americans of their Bill of Rights protections against the corporate, in all honesty.

Since why haven't any of these purported Constitutional focused groups used their donations and monies toward funding the Constitutional remedy for such continued treason and abuse of the citizenry, and filed the civil and criminal charges against some of these "misrepresentatives" which is the process that is provided in the Constitution to so do, and many of these groups are actually headed by lawyers or educators?

I would also dispute that it was the "conservative" members of the Court that were behind this latest corporate hijacking of our political process.

Since this was clearly a "liberal" construction of the Bill of Rights protections under the Constitution intended for the PEOPLE against the government and the corporate, and not a "conservative" one at all.

The corporate lawyers in this country are licking their lips over this one, make no mistake about it, and was also a major job stimulus for them, truth be told.

And this rather narrow holding with respect to a grassroots political PAC organization will be expanded, and expanded and expanded eventually to include corporate "commercial" concerns - even global ones outside the U.S., make no mistake, and appears to have been the true intention at the outset in this screening and selection of this case by the Court.

Our judiciary is simply another political tool in the now one party system - corporate socialism.

Even Obama during the health care deform consulted with the "stakeholders" and not the Constitution - "stakeholders" who have been consistently now granted more and more corporate friendly legislation over the American people's wallets and livelihoods since the Surpeme Court first trashed the Constitution in somehow adding another party to it - corporate "person-hood."

Why would Congress or the President wish to follow the Constitution and actually regulate those health care providers and concerns adequately per Constitutional provision, rather than fining homeless and jobless Americans for not purchasing their products at their excessively expensive rates, if in regulating those costs for their policies, or providing oversight of those high risk reinvestments and diversifications they continue to make with those profits, or tying any increases in annual amounts in with the CPI it would affect the amounts those Congressmen and Senators, and presidential candidates would receive for their future political careers?

Now, it appears, in unlimited amounts. Which means simply that the government in this health care legislation is mandating that you purchase a product from the financial sector, in order that they can then get your dollars through the backdoor in order to further strip you of your rights for their benefit, and your hard earned cash for their next campaign as a "donor" without even any tax credits for your donations.

And although former justice Sandra Day O'Connor has been quoted as criticizing the decision as compromising the future neutrality of the Court, her comments appear to be mere rhetoric also - since the Court has been political almost since the ink was dried on the Constitution per Jefferson's comments with respect to one branch in which there truly was not at all an adequate "check" on their powers, and who placed themselves as the arbiter of Constitutionality even outside the jury provisions which were actually meant to prevent such a clearly political decision such as this one from occurring.

And have done so consistently also through its voluminous and ludicrous Rules of Civil and Criminal Procedure every since, using even some of those court rules in order to circumvent the Constitution, and people's access to the court system itself.

And the Court and Congress actually have no inherent "rights" to redefine the fundamental basis for a representative government in any statute, law or court rendering.

In other words, you cannot have a truly representative government as clearly intended by those founders if candidates are funded or "promoted" or receiving campaign backing by any individuals or corporate concerns outside their own legislative districts.

Not to mention national and international corporate monies, which in effect then eventually might mean that the bin Laden family, or the British royal family, or Mr. Murdoch himself (a British national, all appearances to the contrary) could spread their cash for key committee leadership races and not only undermine the entire American political process, but hijack actually our government placing it under foreign rulership and control.

Even more so than it already is under the British bankers which own our own Federal Reserve.

So America, while the media pundits at Fox (the national animal of the British, mind you) are celebrating this victory and painting it as heralding a return to "freedom" and the First Amendment rights of the people, while the purported "liberal" organizations are crying "foul," remember it is all simply an act for public consumption on the part of those media owners and moguls.

Since they just got handed a privilege and immunity over that of the true citizend and people of this nation purposely and deliberately that will guarantee that more and more of America's wealth, and its political process, will be "corporately" determined, and their profit margins increased and also watch the election cycle in presidential years become more and more of a circus than it already is.

A neutral and independent judiciary?

Obama and Alito should be nominated for Academy awards at this point for best actor by a politician of the new seat for the entertainment industry, Washington.

Or at least declare and disclose their true employment status and benefits packages as not public servants at all, but corporate directors.
